AZ. AGR. MARAVIGLIA FILIPPO

The Maraviglia winery was created in 2004 out of a passion for winemaking which was shared by the whole family. The winery owns over 13 hectares, developed to create grapes of excellent quality, located in the area of Piannè di Matelica. The vineyards are trained in cordon spur with 2.6m between the rows and 80cm between the vines for the red wines whilst Verdicchio vines are spaced at 1m distance. The yield for Verdicchio is 10,000kg per ha whilst for the red grapes, this decreases to 8,000kg per ha. The winery grows Verdicchio, Sangiovese, Ciliegiolo, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot and produces a approx. 30,000 bottles per year.
