AZ. AGR. STROLOGO SILVANO

Silvano Strologo with the help of oenologist Soverchia, has radically changed the winery which was created by his father Sante Giulio in 1960. The first vineyards were planted at an elevation of 230m with southerly exposure in the vicinity of the Parco del Monte Conero. Thanks to the clayey-chalky soils, to the microclimate that is influenced by the sea and a plant density of 5000 plants per hectare with low yields, the Montepulciano vine is able to give its best. The harvest is carried out manually, grapes are placed in small trays, only modern equipment is used in the cellars, wines are fermented in French oak barrels and matured in French oak barriques: all these elements make the wines very pleasing.
