The winery was founded in 1955 by Giovanni Piersanti and his children, Silveria and Carlo. They already had experience in the sparkling wine sector. Following this, Carlo’s children Giuliano
and Ottavio came into the family business after having inherited their father’s passion for a difficult yet rewarding job. Towards the middle of the 1980s, following the ever demanding needs of the market, Piersanti expanded its premises and constructed a modern warehouse of over 2000sqm which has become the heart of the winery able to house over 30,000 quintals of wine in inox steel vats.
