AZIENDA AGRICOLA BOCCADIGABBIA

Boccadigabbia was one of the one hundred holdings of the Bonaparte administration of Civitanova, a vast farm that for over a century was an important example of modern and organise d agriculture. As in all holdings of the administration, in the old farmhouse of Boccadigabbia, an old ceramic tile that carries the name of the holding and the Napoleonic coat of arms with a crowned “N” still hangs. Boccadigibbia is located in the hamlet of Castelletta di Fontespina on the first hills that rise from the Adriatic Sea towards the old town of Civitanova Alta. The southern exposure that the winery enjoys along with the mild climate thanks to the proximity to the sea, make the Baccadigabbia site highly suited to the cultivation of grapes.
