From the start of its activity, the Santa Barbara winery gave itself two goals: to re-launch indigenous varieties Verdicchio Castelli di Jesi and Montepulciano and to create wines to suit an “international taste” with great personality and character. From working the 45 hectares of vineyards, which are between 10 and 35 years old, and harvesting by hand under the watchful eye of technicians and experts, Santa Barbara produces 650,000 bottles per year of which 40% is exported across the globe.
