AZIENDA VINICOLA UMANI RONCHI S.P.A.

Founded in the 1950s in Cupramontana in the heart of the Verdicchio Classico appellation, Umani Ronchi was taken over soon after by the Bernetti family. Umani Ronchi sets itself apart by its strong link to the terroir which has made it one of the largest producers of the two most representative wines of the Marche region: Verdicchio and Rosso Conero. SInce the 1970s, Massimo Bernetti took over at the helm of the winery and was joined by his son, Michele Bernetti. The winery today has 200hs of vineyards – 100ha of Verdicchio Classico, 60ha of Rosso Conero and 30ha of Montepulciano d’Abruzzo – as well as 2 wineries, one in Castelbellino used to produce Verdicchio and one in Osimo used to produce Rosso Conero as well bottling and warehousing.
