BROCCANERA DI SANTINI GIORGIO

The winery is located on the hills of the Marche region, in a small village called Montale, one of the many castles of Arcevia, little town in province of Ancona.It is designed in a very modern style and it was built on lands that belong to the family and in which 3,5 hectares are planted with Verdicchio vineyard. They are facing the North-West direction at 300 meters above sea level altitude. Broccanera is also environment-friendly. The winery produces clean energy by using only the sunlight thanks to some solar panels set on the roof. On the superior fl oor, the welcoming-area leaps out immediately. Corner shop, showcase, dining room to organize conferences or banquet with a huge glass window, connected with a terrace.The environment is composed by expanses of Broccanera vineyards. The three areas: barrel storage, classic method and the “barrique” zone are situated in the lower fl oor. They are ample, separated and thermo-regulated thanks to an advanced control system, centred and computerized. The accurate controls of every single step of the production and the action of antiparasitical substances, reduced to minimum, allow products respecting the most strict European Rules. The use of adjuvants, like for example sulphur dioxide, is limited although it’s a traditional adjuvant, because this activity uses natural methods to produce Broccanera wines, for a better preservation of quality. Broccanera wines are low environmental impact.
