TENUTA SANTI GIACOMO E FILIPPO

Located in the heart of the Montefeltro area, within the Natural Reserve called “La Badia”, Tenuta Santi Giacomo e Filippo covers three hundred and sixty hectares of strictly organically cultivated land, certified by C.C.P.B. (Italian consortium for the control of organic products). The area of Tenuta Santi Giacomo e Filippo contains Urbino Resort, an ancient village of the late ‘700, which now houses 33 rooms distributed in 6 buildings, Urbino dei Laghi, with its restaurant and “Naturalmente Pizza” to taste special pizzas, Urbino Horses, riding school and equestrian tourism centre, and finally the farm and the Estate vineyards and winery. Twelve hectares of vineyards were planted in the heart of the Estate, on land that at the time had been cultivated with organic methods for over 20 years. The vineyards favourable exposure, the careful agronomic management and the unfaltering commitment contribute to the production of grapes that will tell you the story of this land and its traditions. Today we produce a selection of white grapes, such as Bianchello, Verdicchio, Incrocio Bruni 54, Sauvignon and Chardonnay, and red grapes such as Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Merlot and Cab­ernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Petit Verdot.
