Rio Maggio is a dynamic, young, family-run winery which pays great attention to the terroir and to the identity of each of the grape varieties. Simone Santucci, who inherited the passion for wine-making from his father Graziano, founded the company in 1976 and started producing two important DOC wines from the Marche region, especially for the area between the provinces of Ascoli Piceno and Macerata: Rosso Piceno and Falerio dei Colli Ascolani.
